Podcast SummarySacred Music features podcast of live mixes by residents Dj Lou, G-Dubbs, and Mark Bell. We will also be posting live recorded sets from world renowned deejays and producers. Thank you for listening in and we look forward to seeing you at the next Sacred Grounds event. About Sacred MusicSacred Grounds, a tribal gathering created in the spring of 1995 with the vision of bringing different genreās of the house sounds together under one roof in a warehouse atmosphere. As Sacred Grounds has grown, the SG Parties have become a multicultural experience, attended by a diverse crowd spanning a wide range of ages, lifestyles, and backgrounds brought together by these unique organic gatherings. Sacred Grounds has been a staple in the L.A. underground house movement since 1995. With Resident dj's holding it down Dj Lou, Carlos Baruch aka G-Dubbs, and Ruben Medellin. It was originated by G-Dubbs aka Carlos & Ruben Medellin and brought to life by Raul, Lou and the SG family. Working hard to keep the vibe as underground as possible we have found ourselves on a 15 year journey that would lead us to a vibe and concept that cannot be compared to any other. Starting out as a small one-off underground party to becoming one of Los Angeles premiere house events. We have grown to an attendance of an average of 1,000 or more people who come from as far north as Seattle, and as far east as New York. Having guest djs from across the globe our sound is not to be categorized. From the deep soulful sounds of Tony Humphries to the more, funkier, stomping sounds of Derrick Carter we cater to all house enthusiast alike. Our roster has consisted of (in no particular order): Tony Humphries, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Doc Martin, Dj Sneak, Miguel 'Migs', Dj Heather, Marques Wyatt, Greenskeepers, Julius Papp, Jeno, Garth, Markie, Diz, Steve Loria, Dj Fabien, Dj Three, Dj Pierre, Dj Ali, J-Dub, Xavier, Eli Star, Chris Flores, Brownie, The NYC Chocolate Factory heads (Joeski, Onionz, Sameer, Frank Ryde), Buck, Galen, Jamie Thinnes, Doran, Tony Senghore (Sweeden), Raoul Bellmans (Swirl People, Belgium), Phil Weeks (France), Mastiksoul (UK), Bryan Jones, Slum Science (UK), Big Cee, Ellen Ferrato, Tracy, Jason Hodges, Dj Mes, Little Chris, Juan Nunez, Cade, Wally Callerio, CoCoe (abstract Workshop), Mark Grant, Pete Moss, Mauricio Aviles, Jonene, Lance De Sardi, Jt Donaldson, Miles Maeda, Vanyo, Aztek Sol, Benjammin, Alison, Abraham Fabela, Dj Jesse aka Djembe and last but not least the many local dj's in L.A.
